An Independent Travel Advisor (ITA) is a self-employed professional who books travel experiences for clients. Unlike employees of a travel agency, independent advisors work under their own business name or as affiliates of a host agency while providing personalized travel planning services.

Independent Travel Advisors & Blue Horizons Cruises

Blue Horizons Cruises partners with Independent Travel Advisors (ITAs) to help clients plan and book their dream cruises and travel experiences. ITAs operate as independent contractors and not as employees of Blue Horizons Cruises.

When working with an Independent Travel Advisor affiliated with Blue Horizons Cruises:

• They provide personalized travel planning, booking assistance, and expert cruise recommendations tailored to your needs.

• They set their own fees, schedules, and business practices while using our platform for support.

• Any payments, bookings, or service fees are handled directly by the advisor or through the appropriate travel provider (e.g., cruise line, airline, or host agency).

• Blue Horizons Cruises is not responsible for individual advisor actions, omissions, or client agreements.

Responsibilities of an Independent Travel Advisor

1. Providing accurate travel recommendations and booking services.

2. Communicating directly with clients regarding their travel plans, fees, and policies.

3. Managing their own business operations, including taxes, service fees, and marketing efforts.

4. Complying with all legal requirements, including Seller of Travel laws if applicable.

Blue Horizons Cruises does not employ, control, or direct Independent Travel Advisors. All transactions, service fees, and travel planning interactions are solely between the client and the advisor. Any disputes must be resolved directly with the Independent Travel Advisor.
